Top 5 Air Travel Apps Performance in Brazil Q3 2021

The third quarter of 2021 saw distinct trends among the top 5 air travel apps in Brazil, with data sourced from both iOS and Android platforms, courtesy of Sensor Tower.

Azul experienced a consistent growth in downloads, starting from 26.6K in late June and peaking at around 38.6K in mid-September. Weekly active users also showed a positive trajectory, climbing from approximately 130K at the start of the quarter to nearly 150K by the end of September.

GOL | Passagens Aéreas maintained a stable download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers fluctuating between 20.5K and 26.9K. Active users showed a slight decline, starting at 183.4K in late June and decreasing to 181.9K by the end of September.

BRBCARD saw a peak in downloads around late August with 31.6K, followed by a decline to 14.1K by the end of September. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 65.6K in late August and then dropping to 49.6K by the quarter's end.

LATAM faced a decline in downloads, starting the quarter at 22.6K and falling to 4.8K by late September. Active users also saw a downward trend, from 108K in late June to 86.5K by the end of September.

LATAM Pass displayed a significant increase in downloads, peaking at 30.1K in the last week of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, rising from 37K in late June to 57.1K by the end of the quarter.
